A successful operation of the Port-Net project requires beside the exchange of the best practice experience among partners additionally the consideration of generally available best practice know how and answers to specific questions of present port and multi-modal transport problems. Within the Port-Net concept 4-5 studies will give these analytic answers.
The contents of these studies, which are described in more detail on following pages, are embed in the activity areas of Port-Net (port |

administration, port and shipping operations, passenger traffic etc.). The titles can have so far only working character as during the operation time of the project present and new arising developments will be considered appropriately. This up-to-date ness will be guaranteed by linking each study to specific Port-Net activities and by active involvement of partners. In this way the studies will be of practical relevance and "user oriented". By general dissemination, a maximum benefit shall be generated for all partners and beyond. |
