European ports, located in various regions, satisfy individual demand and are endowed with different infrastructure. However, they are facing the same EU policies, applied to national rules.

A best practice dialog on different administrative, management and financing forms will contribute to increase sectoral efficiency and reduce trade costs. This dialog will be initiated by discussiones within 6 workshops and conferences dealing with the topics EU-policies, adminstration, marketing and financing.

The expected results will be an upgrade of broad knowledge and exchange of experiences on EU port policies and types of organisation which fit into the regional framework of different ports.
